In that sense, our acert was more solid de lo que sugiere el 55%: the sign was correct and the match was read properly from the goals point of view.

El 2-1 matched our selected scenario, but only by a fine margin. There was no match de control absolute; the Monza’s goal kept the round’s most anticipated derby from settling into an ordinary home win.

No fue simply a formal success: the five goals showed a clear offensive superiority, with the AS Roma capable of break the match open after the initial exchange.

Después, el AS Roma produjo una segunda lectura más clínica o más dominante,: took advantage of the open game and added another two goals. The gap between the two teams no fue small, but the Udinese no desapareció sin offering resistance. Its two goals mean that the result did not have the sterile appearance of a walkover.

Este partido also demonstrated why our total-goals forecast was so solid. We had projected over 2,5 with 58%, a confidence that may appear modest on paper, but the seven goals justified it more than comfortably. The AS Roma were the most clear and productive attacking team of the round. Their attacking play was not just about the result: it was about the number and quality of the chances they generated. If the team can maintain this level of definition, their position near the top of the table is not a mirage.

El Inter había llegado como one de the principales favoritos, pero lost the derby by two goals. Our Previsión fue una victoria milanista con un 46%, la confidence más baja entre our correct sign picks, but it turned out to be one of the most accurate. The error was not in the final result, sino en our assessment of what type of match would occur.

The 3-1 included four goals, so our over 2,5 call was correct. The BTTS forecast also worked, since both sides scored. What did not work was the sign. Before kickoff, the balance between the two teams seemed more uncertain than the final margin. Yet the Milan produced the stronger performance and the Inter were unable to maintain their advantage. This was not a narrow escape: the two-goal difference suggests that the home team controlled enough of the decisive moments to deserve the win.

The surprise also has an important reading for the table. The Inter remain second with 25 points, but this defeat means that the race with Lazio and AS Roma is now even more demanding. The Milan, meanwhile, moved to fifth with 21 points. A derby can alter more than the points distributed over ninety minutes: it can change the perception of momentum, confidence and hierarchy.

Como-Venezia: la defensa se convierte en protagonista

Como 1-0 Venezia fue our most confident 1X2 pick of the round: 73% for Como. It was also one of the cleanest correct calls, because the result had little room for interpretation. The home side won narrowly, kept the scoring to one goal and left the Venezia without the net. The Como reached fourth place with 23 points, and their performance showed that the team is able to win without turning every game into a numerical contest.

Here our total-goals forecast failed. We projected over 2,5 with 68%, but the match ended with only one. The BTTS forecast also missed, since the Venezia did not score. Both errors were related: we overestimated the likelihood that the game would open up and the Venezia would find the net. Instead, the hosts defended the result with an almost textbook low-risk approach.

There was an ironic detail. Our forecast was not far removed from what happened in terms of strength: Como won. But once the match became tight, the assumptions changed. The defensive control of the hosts limited the number of goals and removed the Venezia’s chance to affect the total. It was a useful lesson. In football forecasting, a correct winner does not guarantee that the rest of the market is protected; the script can change between the first goal and the final whistle.

Frosinone 2-0 Torino fue another match where our final result was right and our game-state assumptions were wrong. The home side was projected as the winner at 46%, and the Frosinone duly won. We also expected over 2,5 goals, with 67% confidence, and Ambos marcan, at 69%. None of those attacking predictions happened.

The 2-0 had a different profile from the Como 1-0. The Frosinone did not need to chase the game or survive a late siege; the Torino failed to create the equalizer. The two goals gave the hosts a comfortable margin, while the clean sheet came from denying the opposition rather than simply protecting a one-goal advantage. The result pushed the Frosinone to sixth with 20 points, a position that now looks significantly more solid than it did before the round.

This was perhaps our clearest example of overconfidence in the “ambos marcan” market. A 69% estimate was high, and the Torino’s inability to score exposed the weakness of the assumption. The problem was not just that the total was low; it was that the game was controlled in a way that removed the second goal from the equation. A team can dominate without conceding, and the 2-0 illustrates how much a single assumption can distort a combination bet.

Lazio-Cagliari: el líder en su propio campo

Lazio 2-1 Cagliari fue a partido de manual para el actual líder, que now has 28 points after nine wins and one draw. Our Previsión was a Lazio win with 66%, and the result was correct. The total-goals call also landed, since the game produced three goals. The only miss was the prediction of no en el criterio de ambos marcan: the Cagliari managed to score, making the 2-1 moredynamic de lo previsto.

Despite the victory, the Lazio faced more resistance than the table position suggests. The Cagliari scored once and kept the result within a goal, enough to prevent a clean-sheet home victory. The Lazio therefore added another three points without offering a performance as conclusive as their undefeated record. That does not diminish the achievement; it shows the ability to win tight matches, a quality that can prove decisive when the league becomes congested.

With 28 points, the Lazio have a three-point advantage over the Inter and four over the Roma. The gap is not enormous, but it is meaningful. The leadership position gives them a clear psychological and competitive advantage, especially when the schedule becomes less forgiving. The Cagliari’s goal also offers a useful warning to the Lazio: the leading group is strong, but no team in this Serie A is beyond being destabilised by a single goal.

Lecce 1-2 Génova fue our most difficult correct 1X2 call: Genoa was selected with only 40%, the lowest confidence among the eight winning selections. The away side won, but the surrounding predictions failed. We projected under 2,5 goals and no for ambos marcan, and both were wrong because the game ended 1-2.

The three-goal total was not enough to make the match especially open, but it did produce a closely balanced contest. The Lecce scored, the Genoa also found the net and the visitors secured the victory. Our under-goal call was based on a reasonable expectation of control, but the teams delivered more exchanges than that assumption allowed. This is the type of match in which a modest confidence percentage is justified: the winner can be identified without the underlying game being predictable.

The Genoa should take confidence from the result, while the Lecce must examine why their home advantage did not translate into a point. In a fixture of this nature, the margin can be defined by one moment, and the prediction got the destination right even though it failed to describe the route.

Juventus-Napoli: dos goles para mantener la

Juventus 2-0 Napoli fue arguably the most solid result in terms of game management. The home team won, the match stayed below 2,5 goals and the Napoli failed to score. Our Previsión picked the Juventus with 44%, under 2,5 with 52% and ambos marcan with 54%. Only the last prediction was wrong; the first two were correct.

The result moved the Juventus to seventh with 17 points, while the Napoli dropped to eighth with 14. The defeat is particularly useful for the Napoli because it exposes the gap between their place in the table and their ability to control important matches. The Juventus, by contrast, obtained a clean-sheet victory against direct competition and therefore combined result with defensive control.

The 2-0 also represents a fine illustration of how the totals market can behave differently from the goalscorers market. We correctly identified that the game would not produce a large number of goals, but we still expected Ambos marcan. The Napoli’s blank was the final obstruction. The Juventus did not need a dramatic attacking display to take the points, and the Napoli were unable to make the match sufficiently unstable.

Sassuolo-Fiorentina: elOTE más_complete de la fecha

Sassuolo 2-4 Fiorentina fue our only match in which all three predictions were correct, and the signs are easy to understand. The Fiorentina won with 42% confidence, the match went over 2,5 goals with 61% and both teams scored with 64%. The result justified the whole package: six goals, two teams contributing to the attack and a clear away victory.

Once again, the total-goals estimate was particularly valuable. The Sassuolo scored twice, but the Fiorentina added four, showing a superior capacity to take advantage of the game’s openings. A 4-2 scoreline can arise in different ways, but here it suggests that the visitors were the more productive attacking unit. Their four goals were not simply compensation for a difficult start; they defined the match and ensured the Sassuolo could never settle into a controlled duel.

This was also a good demonstration of the value of combining markets rather than evaluating them in isolation. Our away-win selection may have looked modest at 42%, but it was supported by an over-goals and BTTS read that also found their target. The Fiorentina were the most accurately identified attacking team of the round.

Atalanta-Parma: la sorpresa may be más clara

Atalanta 0-3 Parma fue the biggest upset of the round. The Atalanta were selected with 64% confidence, a percentage second only to Como’s 73% among our selections, and they lost at home. The Parma produced one of the round’s most convincing performances, winning 0-3 and preventing the hosts from scoring.

Our over 2,5 prediction was correct because the game did contain three goals, but the BTTS call failed: the Atalanta failed to find the net. The funny contradiction is that our tactical expectation of an open match was half right. The Parma scored freely enough to exceed the line, but the Atalanta’s attacking contribution was insufficient. The result was a clean sheet for the visitors rather than a mutual exchange.

The Atalanta now need to work out why their home advantage and attacking expectations did not materialise. The Parma, meanwhile, have demonstrated that they can take points away from a leading opponent and control the match from the front. At 64%, our miss was painful precisely because confidence was high. The lesson is the same as in the Milan-Inter and Como-Venezia fixtures: strong names and strong positions do not make the probability certain.

Las tres resultados que más merecen recordarse

3. Udinese 2-5 AS Roma: la mayor defensiva

Cinco tantos allows the AS Roma to impose themselves from the beginning to the end.

Our misses in the result market were Inter, Atalanta and no other; however, the key errors were concentrated in the manner in which we projected several games. The Atalanta- Parma miss was the most important because it involved our second-most confident selection. The Como-Venezia and Frosinone-Torino misses shared the same fault: we expected a greater number of goals, but defensive control reduced the scoring. In the Lazio-Cagliari, Juventus-Napoli and Lecce-Genoa games, the BTTS forecast failed for different reasons: the Cagliari scored, the Napoli did not and both teams scored in a match we had projected as under 2,5.

These are useful errors rather than random failures. They show that our general tendency was to treat competitive matches as open ones. The current Serie A demands a more careful distinction between “the two teams can score” and “both will score”. The first is a possibility; the second requires a specific balance of attacking efficiency and defensive risk. By treating them as almost interchangeable, our 40% BTTS record was the natural consequence.

The 46% Milan-Inter selection also demonstrates the value of selecting a sign even without maximum confidence. The percentage was lower than the Atalanta pick, but the result was correct. This illustrates that accuracy cannot be judged only by the strength of the prediction. A 46% pick that wins is more valuable than a 64% pick that loses, especially when the latter carries greater financial risk.

Los mejores aciertos: Bologna, Roma y Fiorentina

Three matches deserve special credit for the quality of the complete reading. The Bologna-Monza prediction was perfect in all dimensions: home victory, over 2,5 and both teams scoring. The AS Roma’s away win was similarly complete, and the margin was even larger: five goals scored. The Sassuolo-Fiorentina forecast also hit every market, correctly identifying the Fiorentina as winners in a six-goal match.

TheComo pick was the most secure result of the round, although its related goals markets failed. The Juventus selection was useful too: the 2-0 confirmed the home win and under-goal scenario, though the BTTS call missed. The Genoa call was a minor triumph, with the result right at only 40% confidence. In total, the round showed that the system can read both the obvious favourites and the more difficult away wins.
